We discover a problem to connect to a server 5.7.4 with client 5.7.4 when compression is activated.
The progress goes up to 35% but then it takes some time and we get a timeout message saying the response took longer than expected....
Looking at the client log file I can see the following
Perhaps the server is an older version than the client?

as the error was related to decompression I tried to connect to the server with decompression switched off and then the connection is possible without any problem. Client and server are on the same version.
In the logfile is also a big XML and Bas64 encodes string that I do not want to include here.
Strange is that so far we could solve the problem by rebooting the server and after that we could connect with compression switched on for some time. As this could not be the final solution we found out about the compression issue now.
Parallel we noticed that the tray client running on the server has also problem to connect which can be solved for some minutes by rebooting the server.
As we can not deactivate compression here this is still an open issue for us.
