Hello

I noticed a problem in the GUI when monitoring the jobs and tasks in the grid.

Sometimes the grid does not allow to expand the tasks of a job. The litte + icon is just missing.

It seems as if this would be a problem in version 5.7.4 (client). Before we used Client 5.6.9
We notice this behavior when monitoring server with version 5.7.4. but also 5.7.2. Within the same client a server with version 5.6.9 allows to expand the tasks.

Is there a fix for this problem. As it seems to work fine sometimes it does not look like a general problem in the client settings.

Please see attached screenshot.

the upper section are jobs from a server with version 5.7.2 and the lower section aer jobs from a server with version 5.7.4

Best regards

Dennis

Hi Henrik

we do have 4 servers at all that we monitor with version 5.7.4 client.

I justed checked again and it seems as also the 2 servers with version 5.7.4 show this problem.

There are various task types behind these jobs. Many SSH Tasks and a lot of http tasks. But also backup tasks ... They all can not be expanded.

After a few minutes and if I disconnect and reconnect the tasks can be expanded again for this server.

Best regards

We have an idea but the problem is that our "solution" is in a beta version. I would not say that there is anything negative with that version except that you need to update both servers and clients as the protocol has changed.

If you are interested in trying that version we can send it to you. We will probably release the beta publicly the next week.

Hello Hendrik

gerenally we are interested in testing the Beta but unfortunately two of the servers we are monitoring with the client ar running at our customers site.
We can not install teh new server version there with beta status.

Would the Beta client also run with older server versions or only with the new server version.

Hi there,

I've had this exact same issue, though with different configuration: I'm working off a localhost server and I had another server connected - remote server displaying on top and local server on bottom. For some reason the expand/collapse [+]/[-] buttons were gone for all jobs on the remote server, while the local ones were fine. Both are 5.7.4.

For what it's worth, the buttons showed up again after I disconnected the client from the remote server, and then reconnected.

Are you able to test the 5.7.5 version?

New version of client needs to be run as well.

Hi Henrik,

I haven't been able to reproduce the issue (seen it only once), so I don't know what causes it - also I personally wouldn't mind testing the beta, but aside from not knowing what to do to attempt recreating the issue, I'm not authorized to... Sorry :s
