3/31/2011 4:17:17 PM Err Exception in Task: Non zero exit code
3/31/2011 4:17:17 PM Err Task "test" exited with code: 42(Error description was not found (42))

We are getting this error intermittently and not sure what is causing it.
Is this a known issue with VisualCron?
The task involves executing a perl scrip that opens a database connection.

Here is what we found but it may not be directly related:

Code 42

The error code 42 is displayed when one of the following two conditions is true:

A bus driver incorrectly creates two named children (bus driver error) which are identical to each other.
A device that has a serial number is discovered in a new location without being removed from its earlier location.

Error Message: “Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware because there is a duplicate device already running in the system. (Code 42)”

Solution

When the error occurs, restart your PC.
Open Device Manager, and double-click on your device to open its properties box.
Here, on the General tab, click Troubleshoot to launch the Troubleshooting Wizard.
Follow the instructions in this wizard to diagnose the problem with your device and then resolve it.

Check the script so it only contain full paths - and also paths to local folders.

If possible, run the script part in the SQL Task instead.

Last resort you could try the Foreground Task.
