Hello,
I am trying to create a trigger that will keep a watch on one of the Unix system. I have done with windows system which works very fine. However when I set up the trigger for Unix system I get the error as shown in the snapshot. I am using the same path in the field which ask for the folder to watch. Please let me know if there is another way to be followed when working with Unix system or is it that we cannot keep a watch on the file on the Unix system using Visual Cron.

Thanks and regards,
Susheel

You have to check "Use polling" in the file trigger since Samba does not have the same Windows events like Windows.

Hello Henrik,
I tried cheking the checkbox for the use polling option. But still it throws an error saying network path not found. However I am able to pull the files from the Unix system and also upload the files. Only the trigger is failing. I have attached the snapshot of the screens. Please let me know if I am giving any information in a wrong way. Kindly consider it as urgent as this is the last step I am fighting with to complete my assignment.

Thanks and regards,
Susheel

If it is a network path you nee to use a Credential. A user on that remote system that has access. Create and select one in the file trigger.
