I don't know how viable this is given the number of mobile OSes out there today, not to mention potential security concerns of exposing the VisualCron server to the internet, but...

Mobile apps would be an extremely handy feature. If I could pull up the scheduler from my phone anywhere and activate/deactivate tasks, manually run taks, etc that would be very handy indeed.

an html interface specifically created for smaller screens should take care of any mobile platform!

Yes, this definitely sounds interesting to do. We know that some clients have done this by themselves through the API but we need to increase the API a bit to allow better connection persistance in order to do this.
