Set up a new job with a mail trigger.

Job checks for a subject line (equals) and a sender (equals) and on AllMatch, sends an email.

Issue 1:

If the subject line does not match (including case matching), the job is not run.
If the subject line does match but the sender does not, the job IS run.

It appears the trigger is ignoring the sender but I want to restrict it to sender AND subject.

Issue 2:

I tried to inactivate the job but everytime the mail trigger is supposed to run, it reactivates the job and runs.
If I try to deactivate the mail trigger and the job, the mail trigger reactivtes the job on next run.

This is not normal behavior. We need to test this and get back to you. Thank you for the report.

sorry for the late response.

Issue 1:

We could not reproduce this. When using AllMatch, a matching subject and a no matching sender the Job is not run. What is important in this case is the AllMatch which generates an AND matter.

Are you using "Don't check" on the other two?

Issue 2:

We could not reproduce this. We deactivated it by opening the Job and unchecked the Trigger. Perhaps your Trigger was currently running when this happened. Try using a higher check interval.

Issue 3:

This can only be three problems:

1. firewall blocking
2. wrong address
3. wrong server

You can verify this if you can stand on the same server and telnet to port 143 on the address you specified.
