Morning,

Since yesterday no one at work can open his VC for obscure reasons ... When you open it, it will load and start connecting to the servers but then it bring up the error handler.
Not any change on any server or anything. Error message is as follow:

System.Data.InvalidConstraintException: ForeignKeyConstraint Constraint1 requires the child key values (3b62bff7-7a79-4e0a-8254-e32329ddc6c3, 4b57e369-959a-4f6b-8691-319f589923ec) to exist in the parent table.
at System.Data.ForeignKeyConstraint.CheckConstraint(DataRow childRow, DataRowAction action)
at System.Data.DataTable.RaiseRowChanging(DataRowChangeEventArgs args, DataRow eRow, DataRowAction eAction, Boolean fireEvent)
at System.Data.DataTable.SetNewRecordWorker(DataRow row, Int32 proposedRecord, DataRowAction action, Boolean isInMerge, Int32 position, Boolean fireEvent, Exception& deferredException)
at System.Data.DataTable.InsertRow(DataRow row, Int32 proposedID, Int32 pos, Boolean fireEvent)
at System.Data.DataRowCollection.Add(DataRow row)
at frmMain2.LGOFIHDBKKNMKLGKEDAMKMHJDNAHAMGLGILI(Server& , JobClass , TaskClass )

I tried a lot of things but so far not luck at all. Anyone has an idea ?
Worst case scenario do you know how I could reset my configuration ?

Yes, this can be fixed.

First, please try to stop the VisualCron service and then start it again. Then connect.

If that fails, then please zip the settings folder and send to us.

This error might be related to cloning of Jobs/Task. Have you done anything like that? Which version are you running?

When you say close the VC service you mean on the server side I assume ? (as the error is on the client side). We are using either VC 5.6.2 or 5.6.9

Is their anyway for me thanks to log to identify which server is the one creating this issue? I have about 40 server connected to my VC and I won't be able to reboot all services until this week-end.

An other question,

Could I desactivate the auto login in a conf file or something like that?

There is an xml file here called servers.xml (replace with your username)

C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Local\VisualCron\settings

If you close the client first you can edit that file before starting the client. Search for:

<AutoConnect>true</AutoConnect>

and replace with:

<AutoConnect>false</AutoConnect>

Ok I did identify the server who is causing an issue.

Restarting the service did not help much.

Any idea ?

Please zip that settings folder from the server and send it to us (support@visualcron.com)

Also, please try to remember if you did try to clone/copy any object.
