Currently there is an active job parameter. This is perfect for sending informative
emails when things go wrong. With the active job parameter I can create one email notification and use it for all jobs.

If however you have a lot of tasks, and do want email notification on the task level, there is no possibility to handle this notication with only one email. Currently you have to create an notification for each task. This is quite burdensome. Could an active task parameter be included?

Kind regards,

There is an Active Task parameter, as well as PrevTask parameter.

Hi Henrik,

I couldn't find it in the GUI though. Because you said it's there, I just replaced the the 'JOB' tekst to 'TASK' and it works fine.

Thanx for the quick response,

Grz Dave

P.S. As soon as I've got time I will help you to work out some SSIS cases.

Finding the Active Variable will be easier in next version.
