Hello,

I believe I've stumbled upon a bug in VC. Say I have Task 1 from Job A that I want to clone to Task 2 in Job B. Assume that Task 1 has a condition set enabled for it. So I clone Task 1 and choose Job B to clone to. During the clone process if I uncheck the condition set, then not only is it unchecked for the new Task 2, but it is unchecked in the ORIGINAL task as well.

I've been able to repeat this over and over. Hopefully someone can take a look at it as it makes me hesitant to clone tasks that have conditions associated with them.

Thanks!

Hi viper8,

I tried it today with the 5.6.9 version, but wasn't able to reproduce this.

What do you mean with 'during cloning'? Cloning is just one click, so at what time do you uncheck the condition in the cloned task?

Regards,
Erik

We were able to reproduce it yesterday and will provide a fix in next release.

Erik: By "during cloning" he means the new Task that is shown in edit mode when using Clone to Job-> X.

That's exactly it, sorry if I was unclear. Thanks for providing a fix! 😎
