We just updated to 5.6.2 from 5.6 and started experiencing issues with pulling files from an external FTP to a share using UNC paths. It does work however if we drop the file on the local drive of the Visual Cron server and then have Visual Cron move the file to the UNC path as a separate step.
Error:
Error (6) downloading file(s): Accum_BLANK_20100716.TXT.pgp, err: Access to the path '\\mts005\data\_Temp\Accum_BLANK_20100716.TXT.pgp' is denied.
To get the error:
1. Download a file from an external FTP site and have the task save the file to a UNC path such as "\\mts005\data\_Temp"
2. Displays access error
To get around the error:
1. Download a file from an external FTP site and have the task save to the local C:\ drive (C:\_Incoming)
2. Create another task to move the file from C:\ to the UNC path
EDIT: We just noticed it does the same thing if you are posting files to a FTP site from a UNC path. This is a HUGE problem for us. We're changing back to 5.6 for now.
Can this be fixed please?
Thanks!
