When connecting to FTP servers, the FTP output displays the password. While we really need the FTP output, in a secure environment, it's important to not have the password displayed. This won't pass muster with our security team. Is it possible to replace the password with ****, or with some statement, such as the password is hidden?

Unfortunately, this output comes from the ftp server and should be blocked there. We can't know for your what part of the output is the password. Different servers write it out different ways.

I suggest you go to the server and try to configure this or that you use FTPS instead.
