Hi,

I tried to use the Remote Execute option.

I see that the port are 135 and 3367.

Is there a way to configure this port ??

Probably not, we are using Windows WMI functions to do this. Perhaps you can find something on Internet regarding that.

Hello

With Hiacine We had a solution for fix port TCP WMI

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/908472/fr

But now, we had a problem with the exit code, becauce when we execute the remote batch, we not have the exit code in VisualCron.

Moreover the remote batch is startint and this stop immediatly with a PID Id in a output
but the batch running yet on the remote server

Have you a solution for manage the batch following the execution from beginning to ends ???

Thanks for the link, here is the english link:

Currently WMI is limited so the exit code is only a signal if the process was started ok or not. That is all we can get right now.

Ok,

could we hope a future version where remote execution can wait and catch the result ?

Or any other way to execute a distant process.

Yes, but we will probably not try to workaround the Windows API using WMI. Instead we will provide communication between servers or agents and servers to servers so you can execute any Task on a remote machine.

We don't have any time frame for this but this is what we plan. Please let us know if you have any input regarding this.
