You posted this before: http://www.visualcron.co....aspx?g=posts&t=1043

Any feedback on that? Did you install 5.5.0.

This is the same problem as in your last post.

No, this is a different problem. That other issue might be due to the fact that the desktop was not logged on at that point (I thought it was when I posted.) I did install 5.5.0, and I turned on the Desktop Unlock feature (it was not on before) and now I get this error.

Maybe they are related, but I did not think so.

Did you restart the server since installing 5.5.0?

Do you have any other errors in the log?

1. Please open Local Security Policy->Security options->Do not require CTRL+ALT+DELETE in Windows and make sure that is Enabled
2. Please tell me the keys where you find InteractiveLogonCPx64.dll in the registry
3. Do you see InteractiveLogonCPx64.dll in the VisualCron folder?

We're on a domain and cannot enable that policy.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\CLSID\{75A22DF0-B81D-46ed-B119-CD30507BD615}\InprocServer32]
@="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\VisualCron\\InteractiveLogonCPx64.dll"
"ThreadingModel"="Apartment"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData\S-1-5-18\Components\FBB90CEDD1AED155DC6FA7675DAF5F45]
"4A73FB46D9E25024797812526E19B8D1"="C:\\Program Files (x86)\\VisualCron\\InteractiveLogonCPx64.dll"

Yes, that .dll is in the VC folder.

Ok, this policy needs to be enabled in order to get this working. Those security settings are blocking this feature. Cannot you enable on this machine only?

No. If this is required, I just won't be able to use this feature.

I don't know if it helps but this is just one registry change.

It's against our security policy. I'm the IT Directory. Not a good example if I make everyone else do it, but I don't do it. 🙂
