Hi, I am trying to set up a job that will notify me via e-mail when I get a MySQL error. What is vcron expecting in the trigger field for "Log File" ?

Is it "Application", the display name of the file or the actual name: "AppEvent.Evt "Or is it the whole name like: "C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\AppEvent.Evt"

Thanks, Marty

The name you see in the event viewer, like "Applications".

Thanks,

I am still getting an error.

A trigger was inactivated due to an error. Provider Failure.

It doesn't matter what I put in I get an error. Also, it will not let me Ignore Category. It always comes back as AND and for this error the category is None.

I have:
Log File: Application AND
Category id: 0 IGNORE
Category: None AND
Event id: 100 AND
Event type: Error AND
Description contains: IGNORE
Source: MySQL AND

Try installing the latest beta as there is a problem with the "event type" in earlier versions.
