Hi there,

VC uses about 100 % of the CPU if a ZIP job is running.
How can i reduce this usage or set an maximum amount of xx %?

Thank you

You can't right now, however, we are rebuilding this Task soon and we will have that in mind then.

Has there been any development on this? We are also facing CPU crunch on Visual cron machine for a mere 100 jobs in the system which runs periodically. Can someone suggest how can we stop the resource outburst?

The current installation is on a Windows 2019 server with 8 GB ram and 4 CPU cores.

8 gb is very little memory for a server.. I know you said cpu, but still. Is memory usage also very high when you have a cpu crunch?

We will need a lot of more information about what jobs you are running, which ones are hogging cpu etc (go to visualcron task manager under tools and check)
