Hi All

I have problem with connection to sFTP. It all works on FileZilla using the same settings. However when I test connection in VC, I got below error.

Connetion test failed. Error: Connection lost due to error 96258

Any ideas how to solve it or troubleshoot ?

Edit the SFTP connection and click on the tab connection settings followed by the tab encryption.
Set auto adict ciphers, does that help?

They were set to auto already. I then test connection with FileZilla with debug mode set to verbose, to check exact encryption algorithms and set them in VC accordingly. Didn't help.
So I set them to auto ajust ciphers.

One common issue we have had is in testing ftp sites with VC. From my laptop (on VPN to our network) I can access any external ftp site but from the servers where we have VC installed they are under additional security measures so we have to whitelist external addresses accessed via those servers. This certainly may not be how your network is setup but it is worth the question: Are you running filezilla from the same machine as VC?

Yes, FileZilla connection that worked was made from the machine where VC is used.

Could you please upgrade to the latest version and then re-create the connection and see if you are able to reproduce the issue?
