Dear,
Something seems to truncate data in the log database. Just some days are kept, Everyday one day is removed.
eg for Job log, Settings are 70days but only 5days in DB. Number of line is not the issue.

On other instance of VC with similar settings, we don't have the same issue.

Actually we're using VC 6.0.

Any idea what is purging the log?

The maximum filesize of the log if 4gb so it could of went past that and started deleting, we strongly recommend you to use an external database for logging. Either way, we can not troubleshoot versions that are so many years old, we only support versions that are maximum 1 years old. 6.0 is 5+ years old. Please upgrade to the latest version and see if you can reproduce this there

My bad about the version, it's 9.6.0 (mistype). It's not the last but almost.

If you confirm the maximum of 4Gb in last versions also, I'm looking for an external logging DB.

Yes, i can confirm 4gb has always been the limit for that file/internal storage
