Hello, VisualCron community,
We are using 9.4.0 version of VisualCron. What we've noticed is that VisualCron always try to run the process with NT Authority\System account instead MSA account we configured in task properties.

Here is one example: Trying to run executable program with Microsoft DB connection. In config file is definied that we will use Integrated security.
Here is the task properties:

And we have configured MSA account as following:

In test option we received this:

After executing the task crashes. We noticed in the logfile that connection is with NT Authority\System account

VisualCron service starts with LocalSystem account, but we must use alternative users for separate tasks. Our desire is to use MSA accounts, but seems VisualCron have problem using MSA account.

We hope this problem will be solved soon.
Greetings,
Ivo

It seems in 9.4 that every SQL connection I try to make stopped working and I had to enable "Load User profile"

Exactly, you have to check Load profile / Local login

Thank you for the fast response!

Unfortuantely, we are trying to use Group Manage System Account, as far as I know, Load user profile is not an option, because this type of account does not support user profile. Anyway if i try to do so, VisualCron give this error:

And task error output is : Could not start process as another user. The username, passwor or domain was incorrect!

Have you gotten this to work? We went down the path of using a MSA but also ran into the local profile requirement.

Funny thing is I created a brand new "non" MSA account (just a regular domain account) and when i use that to run the task it also runs as nt_authority/system.

I was able to get it to run as the correct user only by putting that user in the local admin group although that's not really our preferred solution.
