What are you saying that it stops at LIST command or that it should fail there?

In the 4.9.40 version the task stops completly right after the LIST error, but in 5.3.2 it continous with the other download steps without raising an error. The error is there however.

I think it has to stop and that an error must be raised.

The question is if there should be an error if that is not supported? We are intentionally ignoring this LIST error because some older FTP servers does not support that command.

Ok, I understand what you are saying and understand why the task isn't failing with de ignoring list error.

Was there an other way to download files without using the LIST command?

I download more files from the same ftp server, and there the LIST commands are working. That's funny right?

Not sure what you mean:

1. does it continue downloading the files you want even though you get the LIST error? (the Task does what it is supposed to do)

Okay:

I have a FTP task with 5 download steps in there.
The 1st download step works fine
The 2nd stops after the LIST command, but the task continous, no files downloaded
The 3rd stops after the LIST command, but the task continous, no files downloaded
The 4th download step works fine
The 5th download step works fine

In the 1st, 4th and 5th download steps the LIST command is working and doesn't give me an error.

Prior in version 4 the task stops right after the 2nd download, but that is the expected behaviour you just explained to me.

One other tiny issue:

When you stop the server you see in the next run column: Server off
If you then disable a job and start the server again, for the disabled job this field is still 'Server off', but that's not true.
Should be 'Inactive'.
