I clone a lot of already created jobs into new ones to avoid having to recreate multiple small adjustments and changes.

One thing I see happening is that time interval Triggers will automatically default to M – F no matter what I do when cloning the job

I have seen this in 8.5.5 and now 9.1.0

Start with Job A that is scheduled to run at any time interval, any day

Clone that job into Job B but before you hit OK change the time interval to Sunday at any time and then close the job by hitting OK

Open the job and look at the trigger - it will show Mon. - Friday AND Sunday. You can then uncheck all of the days you do not want and then OK and it will only be run on Sunday
Is this a setting I can change (or have changed)?

I can not seem to reproduce this. Can you record a little videoclip of it or show screenshots? My cloned job shows the time trigger as intended and as set up, following your steps (unless I'm doing one of the steps wrong).

The assumption at this point is that this issue was created in earlier versions and will persist for "old" jobs only. I can create a new job and clone it without the issue. SO I will make a new "Example" job from which I clone to avoid the issue in the future.
