I have reviewed the visual basic code to programmatically start a visaul cron job. However, i am looking for a way to start a job from a 1 or 2 line batch file. with ms access i can open a file and send a parameter to start a macro. how can i do same with visual cron. thanks.

There is no direct way to do that from a batch file as it has not COM support that could be used to Connect to the Server and tell it to execute a certain Job.

What you can do is to use the Touch command in the batch file to create a file that is watched by VisualCron (using a File Trigger).
