I have created both trusted (Trusted_Connection=True;) and integrated (Integrated Security=SSPI;) to try to get this to work. I have tested against SQL 2014, 2016 and 2017.

No matter what i try, i always get a 77777 error.

I can see all the package details. Just when i run the package it always fails. I have even tried to run on 32 bit mode.

I browse the forums and see others have this feature working. Is there something I need to setup that i am missing? can someone please share the steps they took to get this to work?

Apparently if i alter my SSIS packages to use SQL credentials and save the password in the package they run.

Does anyone know if there is a way to truly pass VC saved credentials all the way through the package process and not just for reading the SSISDB database?

If you use Integrated auth you need to combine with a Credential (that has Load profile checked in settings).
