We have a task that copies from from a hidden share from a system we access by IP.
This task will get hung and the timeout does not work either.
We end up having to restart the service to get VC to let go of it.

This is related to how Credentials are used in Source and Destination (there are two). But I believe this has been fixed. Can you please test 8.4.1:
