Hi

When I try to import settings in 8.3.6, I get this message

This did not happen before 8.3.6. We do not add a password when we export settings.

I see this should have been under problem solving, and not beta versions. Feel free to move it.

Anyway, could somebody from support check if they get the same error in 8.3.6? It's a pretty big problem for us that we cannot restore jobs from a backup. I cannot do testing properly as I have to recreate jobs from scratch now.

It only fails when I run locally I found out now, so we get around the problem. When importing on server, everything is fine.

It seems the Client is not running full as Administrator - what if you close client and right click on VisualCronClient.exe and select Run as administrator?

Maybe it depends on if you start it from tray client (double click) or normal?

I got the same problem, and this thread helped me getting around it.

In my case it seems to appear only on Win 2008 R2 servers. It worked fine on 2012.
