I would like to know why the option "Check if file is larger that x size" don't return an error if it is true, is it by design? Is it a bug?
Is it correct that the task completed successfully if that option is true?
Please let me know if i am saying something wrong.

Conditions are global. This means they can be connected to both Tasks and Jobs. So the Conditon has nothing to do with the result of the actual Task. You can control what happens if file is found or not in Action tab of Conditions.
