We recently upgraded our visual cron to v 8.3.5;from later we are getting Control channel transfer error from few of our jobs.Able to connect to these ftp sites from filezilla but from cron we were not able to upload the files to their ftp location.

It sounds like you need to go through security settings of the Connection. Please compare with FileZilla and test the built in Connection Explorer in VisualCron. You can even use the Brute force button to find a working Connection.

when we use explorer to connect the system hangs and we have to close out of the client and load again.
We have also reverted to 8.3.2 and are still seeing the same issue.
Note this FTP connection had been working. No changes have been made and it just quit working. not saying this is Visual Cron just need help identifying where the error is.

Also we have compared the connection criteria between filezilla, Visual Cron and Cyberduck. Visual Cron is throwing the error the others are not.

Loaded Cyberduck on this server and using the same credentials and port am able to upload the file.

Case was resolved by unchecking "Automatically adjust passive mode address for NAT'ed servers".
