Hi

I want a job to run once a year: I create a Custom Time Trigger. I set Every year and a specific Month/Day/Hour/Minute. This is a bit cumbersome but in the Calendar everything looks good when I check the next couple of years.

So if a want to use an Interval Time Trigger instead because it is much simpler/more intuitive I choose "Specific days of the month", Every 12 Month(s) and a day. I pick the Start time as the next particular date and a time. In my example 2019-01-01 at some time.

Now in the Calendar - correctly - the next run time is shown at 2019-01-01 and the next again at 2020-01-01. But then it goes wrong: the following run is shown as 2020-02-01 and every month in the following.

Am I not understanding something?

Please attach a screenshot of the Interval settings you use.

Time trigger, Interval details:
Yearly_trigger.png

This is not expected:
Yearly_trigger_calendar.png

Alternatively you could add a "yearly" to the drop down. It would also be nice if you could show the next say 50 runs. Then I wouldn't need to use the Calendar to check if my settings were correct.

Using VisualCron 8.3.3 in both server and client.

Sorry for the late feedback.

What is wrong with the screenshots you sent? It looks alright to me?

Trigger: run once a year at first day of fourth month

On the second picture you can see that a run is scheduled at the first day of the fifth month!

I am not sure we can reproduce this. If you Delete the Trigger and save the Job first then;

1. select specific days of the month
2. select day 1
3. select 12 months

Do you still get the issue because I cannot reproduce?

I tried again and I experience the same problem.

Server and client are 8.3.4.

Please try exactly this:
1: create a new job (in my example "test_yearly") and save it (click ok)
2: open the job and add an Interval Time Trigger with the following details:
Interval: "Specific days of the month"
Every: "12" Month(s)
Day(s): Mark "1"
Start time: "2018-05-01", "02:00:00" (ie. the first of MAY)
3: Save the job again
4: Now open the calendar (Tools/Schedule/Calendar)
5: If necessary deselect all jobs (and wait the 2 minutes it takes to remove all 300 schedules - in my environment at least) and only mark the newly created job
6: Select month view and verify that the job shows up at MAY the first 2018
7: Click the right arrow and verify that the job does not show up until MAY the first 2019
8: Now click once at the right arrow an behold the unanticipated schedule at JUNE the first 2019, and JULY and AUGUST and ...
