I get this file with name "daily-feed-DDMMYYYY.txt" how can i rename it with "Daily-Feed-YYYYMMDD.txt" while running "Remote file"

How do you get it? (through what Task)

So, you use the Remote file Trigger and want to rename it locally after download OR on the remote server?

both Locally as well as remote Server. Right Now am testing locally, once successful will configure it on remote server.

But it is very different solution if you want to rename a file in the local file system or if you want to rename a file on the FTP server for example.

Then use the Rename action in the FTP Task. There is a Remote file filter.

In Folder you specify value from the Trigger: {TRIGGER(Active|LastTrigger|RemoteFile.Result.Folder)}
In the Include file mask you use value from the Trigger: {TRIGGER(Active|LastTrigger|RemoteFile.Result.Name)}

Then in Rename file tab you specify the name: Daily-Feed-{DATEFORMAT(yyyyMMdd)}.txt

Does the FTP task monitor the file in the source location? Why I selected "Remote File" trigger is because I need to copy the file as soon as they are placed in the source.

You use the Remote File Trigger. It has Download option. Please check the Download tab.
