Using Visual Cron Version 8.2.4, Build 18573

Attempting to connect to an access database. I tried creating a connection using Windows 7 Control Panel > Administrative Tools > ODBC, then adding a connection in VisualCron pointing to the existing connection and selecting the ODBC connection. Testing the connection returns the following error: "Connection test failed. Error: ERROR [IM002][Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager][Data source name not found and no default driver specified"

I have also attempted to create a connection as follows:
Use Connection Guide
Storage Type: File
Database Type: Access
Data provider: ODBC
Driver: {Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)}
DBQ: C:\Nil\Nil.mdb

Again, when I test the connection, the following error occurs: "Connection test failed. Error: ERROR [IM002][Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager][Data source name not found and no default driver specified"

Try first, in Windows ODBC window, to setup the ODBC connection in the SYSTEM DSN. Only when placed there it will be visible by VisualCron.

I have attempted creating both 32bit and 64bit ODBC connections, both failed, however, I am able to connect using the ODBC data sources using software other than VisualCron. The error only occurs in visualcron.

Yes, you need the 64 bit drivers as VisualCron will run in 64 bit mode. That is probably the problem!
