My ftp job keeps failing so I started troubleshooting where the failure was happening and I've found it is happening with the "File filter" option when it is trying to pull the files and subfolders from the directory that needs to be uploaded. I have the option "Include sub folder" checked and it does not pull any files when i click on "Test" and then "Show filtered files" ... If I uncheck the option to include sub folders it pulls in all the files in the root folder just fine but of course I need the subfolders.

I have attached screenshots of both scenarios: 1) having "Include sub folders" checked with the results and 2)having "Include sub folders" unchecked with the results

I'm using version 8.2.4 -- any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

This works for me in 8.2.4. Do you have the same problems if you test on another folder?

Yes it works with other folders and it also works with all the folders when I send them individually which leads me to believe Visual Cron is timing out because of the size (2GB) of the folders or the amount of files (30,000 files) that are in the subfolders.

What size is the folder you are sending and how many files are in your folder?

Thanks,
Chris

I just tested with a small folder. I guess you're right. I assume you have tried extended debugging?

Yes I have extended debugging turn on and have showed this to support. Still waiting for an answer.

Here is the first file that fails and then every other file after that gives an error. Not the same error oddly enough but still an error and does not upload anymore of my files. It only upload roughly 2% of my data.

Your last email was replied to that same day. I will be upgrading to the latest build but that cannot be done until a change control is put in place. We have way too many production jobs running on this server now.

Thanks,
Chris
