I'm not sure if this is a bug in 8.2.4 or something with our setup, but it seems to me that after we upgraded to 8.2.4, our outlook mails disappear from our inbox.

We have a mail trigger that looks for mail from certain adresses, and copies the attachments to a folder. We have cheched 'Leave message on server'. The message is then copied to an outlook folder.

The weird thing is that when I click on the select folder button, it automatically chooses a folder called 'Server failures', and not the one I have selected.

Have anybody noticed the same thing?

There is almost certainly a bug, or at least a change in behaviour in 8.2.4

To replicate, just create a mail trigger, that takes the attachment from a mail, and copies somewhere. The mail itself should be left on the server, and then moved to some folder in outlook.

Result: The attachment part works, but the email is deleted from outlook and not moved to the designated folder.

Do you use IMAP? Because we just tested and it does not delete. Maybe it is something else that deletes?

Quick question. Did it move the mail to the designated folder in you test?

Yes, I see you use a UNC path. Perhaps missing Credential? Try saving to a local path to verify.

Hi

I meant outlook folder. It doesn't move the mail to the folder, and then the mail disappears for some reason. I'll turn on extended debugging later today

It doesn't seem to find the outlook folder even though it definitely exists.

Maybe there are issues with spaces in foldernames? I can test that tomorrow

I was wrong about the disappearing part, but the mails are not moved to the outlook folder. I just made a test job, and a test folder, and it cannot find it. This happened with 8.2.4. Can you confirm that it moved the mail to the correct folder in you test? (I'm talking about outlook folder, not on the fileserver).

You mean Copy? Or are you talking about other setting?

We found the issue. The problem was searching for destination folder. It has been fixed in this build:

http://www.visualcron.co....aspx?g=posts&t=7104

Make sure you select the destination folder through the select button.

Thanks for the report!

Update, if you already downloaded the beta please re-install again. We did another update as there was a general issue with sub folders.
