Hi all;

We've been using VC for years, for various file processing and job processing on a server or via FTP, and we love the job scheduler.
We have a need to execute a command (procedural call) to an ERP package called JD Edwards Enterprise One. We are on version 9.2, a recent convert to that release level.
There is a scheduler package available with it, but its such a poor performer in both setup and execution that I consider it basically crapware.
I'd like to utilize VC to execute a procedural call within the E1 system. I was hoping that "execute" and then being able to log into the environment as a user, then invoke the procedure would work. Trouble is I don't know how to set this up in VC and if E1 would allow us to log into the environment and act like a user to do this task.
Has anyone here ever done this using VC? We can buy another package, but we are trying to avoid that.

Thanks so much!

I did a quick research and it seems like it was a jungle of alternatives and choices depending on version of JD Edwards and how you want to communicate.

Could you send an email to sales@visualcron.com with as many detailed screenshots and description as possible on what you are doing today and how. What data you expect etc and how it works. Thanks.
