Hi,
We're using version 7.7.6 on Windows 2008 R2 Datacenter(64bit).

Using the File->Export Settings option, I can generate a zip file. However, when I try to import that file into a different Visual Cron server (v. 😎, I get an access denied error message. Additionally, when I try to open the zip file using Window's Explorer, I get an error message: The Compress (zipped) Folder '...' is invalid.

Is there a work around or resolution for this?

Thanks.

Please make sure that you export to a local drive. Check the zip file after exporting so it contains VisualCron info. Now, make sure when you import that it is on the same local drives as the server you are importing on (perform everything locally to be sure).

Hi Henrik,

That's the issue, when I try to extract the file using Windows Extraction/Zip utility (on the same machine), it gives me that message that the file is invalid. I am exporting it to a local drive (C: drive).

Thanks.

What is the size of the file?

A workaround is to copy all files (exception license file) in the settings folder and place them in new installation settings folder when the VisualCron service is stopped. Then start it again.

The zip file is 22K, I believe. I was able to copy the files from the Settings folder to the new server. Thanks.
