When I execute this command, the job completes successfully, but VCCommand doesn't return to the command line:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\VisualCron\VCCommand\VCCommand.exe" --connectionmode remote --ip SEVERNAME--username USERNAME --action runjob --name "Job Name"

Is there an option for VCCommand to terminate after the invoked job terminates?

Maybe the server is an older version? Please try upgrading it.

I verified; all servers are running VisualCron 8.0.4. Should VCCommand exit as soon as the remotely invoked job finishes? This is the output I see:

C:\> "C:\Program Files (x86)\VisualCron\VCCommand\VCCommand.exe" --connectionmode remote --ip MYSERVER --username MYUSER --action runjob --name "MY JOB"
Starting worker thread (1) on thread: 3
VCCommand using protocol version: 7.6.5 that was built: 3/21/2016 12:45:38 PM
Connected to server running version: 8.0.4
Job '***MY JOB***' ran with success

And then VCCommand just sits there not returning.

I see, probably, 8.0.4 had a problem exiting the worker thread mentioned in the log. This is not present in 8.1.0.

Oh, I didn't realize 8.1.0 is out. I'll upgrade and keep you updated. Thanks!
