I'm using a HTTP task and this is my URL:
http://bulksell.ebay.com...p;uname=online-led-store
If I access this on a browser it will give me file saving pop up to open or save a CSV file.
I'm trying to use the HTTP task to simply save this file for me, but when I set it up it copies the HTML content instead.
Is there any ways to go around this? Can someone point me to the right direction on what I need to do?

The reason is that your url requires eBay logged on user. And the Task is running in the background from VisualCron system account. No cookie is there etc. To be able to do this you need to find out how to authenticate against that page (which field names and type of authentication).

A potential workaround might be the Web recorder we are working on but we need some weeks to finish that.

I have added the eBay's credentials as one of the system credentials, and used that as the credentials needed for the HTTP task. Maybe it's because it doesn't work this way?

Right, eBay authentication is probably "forms" authentication and where custom solution for their web page. You need to know exactly where to post and how to post to use that approach. Our web recorder will fix this but it is not ready at the moment.
