Job runs on server. Job completes. Client running on server shows job completed.

All the clients installed remotely report job is still running.

Make sure and include the VisualCron Server/Client versions as well as which OS's are in use so when Henrik sees this a better answer can be given.

Sure. it's Windows Server 2012 R2 running VC 8.0.5 server.

Remote clients are Win 7 running VC client 8.0.5

It is a bug in WMI on some servers (it never gives the response back). You can try the "fallback" option in the Task if that works better.

I am running into this on the server side now.

I have a notification setup to report the status of completed jobs. It's reporting the status for the prior job completion, not the one that just ended.

Is the notification considered part of the job? By that I mean, has the current job not really finished if there are notifications associated with it, and that's why it's reporting the result for the prior job execution?

I am using

{JOB(Active|Name)} / {TASK(Active,Name)} - {JOB(Active|Result)}

in the email subject, and receiving My Job / My Notification Name - Failed

where Failed is for the prior job, not the currently executing job
