We're currently testing 8.0.3, when we import jobs from our older server with the new server set to OFF, the jobs with triggers can still fire.

For example I have a job that triggers on new mail (via IMAP4), this job proceeded to re-process all the mail.

Surly jobs shouldn't ever fire if the server is 'OFF'.

Make sure you do not import "Server settings" as it could be ON in the Server settings you import.

I certainly didn't when I imported the jobs. (I only imported a handful so was very careful in what we imported.)

However the full flow is as follows:

Set server OFF.
Import all non job settings.
*Visual check server is still OFF*
Import 5 jobs. Jobs fire.

So maybe the GUI wasn't updated with the server status after the first import.

I'm not sure which is worse, an import that fires the jobs with the server OFF, or the GUI showing that the server is OFF while it is actually ON.

What kind of Triggers are we talking about?

Email trigger (from Exchange via IMAP4). The mails hadn't just arrived, they were old mails from the morning that were already read and processed by the other VC server.

Also, the forum is sending 3 mails every time it sends a notification. Is something broken there?
