Hi,

Is there a task I can use to stop a job (artificially generating an error).

John.

Hi John,

Yes, this can be done with the 'Internal' Task 'Job/Control Task'.

Hope this helps.

I've added a 'Job/Control Task' and configured a 'Job - Stop Job', but cant get it to generate an error.

Thanks, John

Hi John,

Can you please provide more details about what you mean by 'generate error'? Are you referring to the 'status' of the Job? A Job will throw error only when one of the conditions on the 'On Error' tab of the Job are met. You could use the 'Flow' tab of the Job to manage post Job processing.
