it would be nice if you could incorporate AutoLogon features that work like the LogonExpert product which allows you to auto logon and have the option to bypass legal notices that may pop up. This should work for all flavors of Windows just like LogonExpert including Windows 7/8 and Windows Server 2012.

This already works. Just select Foreground Execution in the Execute Task.

I don't have the option to select foreground execution. The Change button is disabled. I also tried to look for addition documentation on setting up the autologon but there really doesn't seem to be any.

When I set the logon/unlock feature and then lock Windows Server 2012, it doesn't unlock. I go and manually unlock the server and it says that the job ran successfully even though it didn't. Should open a support ticket for this instead of continuing in this thread?

Which Task type is it? Foreground execution is available for the Execute Task.

In the documentation, it says that 2 security settings are required for "Foreground Execution". 1) Do not require CTRL+ALT+DEL and 2)Admin Approval Mode for the Built-in Administrator account. Our servers are on a domain with security policies and we are not allowed to enable "Do not require CTRL+ALT+DEL. Doesn't this mean that foreground execution and automatic logon will not work? I think this is why I hoped that this could work more like Logon Expert which doesn't require this type of Limitation.

Also when using using Execute Task with Foreground execution to logon, how do you setup the task to send an acknowledgement to bypass the "Legal Notice" message that comes up before the logon actually happens?

Just verified after testing with developers. We installed a fresh Windows 2012R2. Only setting for getting Execution Context foreground to work is that you Enable "Do not require CTRL+ALT+DEL".

This is why I am making a request to see if you guys can implement your logon the same way that the Logonexpert (www.logonexpert.com) does it as it doesn't require this setting.

As stated before, our servers are in a domain under a group policy and due to recent security policy changes, we are UNABLE to enable "Do not require CTRL+ALT+DEL". We use Logonexpert on a couple of machines to autologon and they DO NOT REQUIRE this setting. They are able to perform logons without it.

In the next few weeks, I was looking to purchase a site license for your software but now it looks like I've also got to consider purchasing multiple Logonexpert licenses also which is something I'd rather not do.

It sounds like you are NOT able to perform logons without make this security setting which is unfortunate. I would have to assume that as more companies move to apply more server hardening settings on their domain servers, they will also implement group policy settings that will disable the ability to enable setting the "Do not require CTRL+ALT+DEL" setting.
