I want to inactive the option "Check New Version" but I don't find the option in preferences.

I have a lot of task in the software and It works fine, I don't want update to avoid any problem. Also sometimes when I open Visualcron and if I don't close the "check new version" the software is block in a few minutes and I have to kill process.
