Thanks, we will do some tests on Windows 2003 and IIS 6.0. Are you running 32 or 64 bit version of 2003?

I believe the Web Client is just a website on the server, you may can publish how to manually create it on IIS6 (or later versions).

Hi,

I've installed web client new version 7.6.6 and I cannot open the URL that it deploys. At first, it complained about authentication and after that it seems that some file (default.htm or similar) is missing.
I agree, maybe some documentation about setting up manually could help.
Server is W2008 64bit SP2.

Thanks!

Any installation error is vital. If you get an installation error it will not continue. Please post the error here.

No, the installation is correct. It detects the IIS 7.0 and deploys the site. But cannot be opened first, because of the authentication. And after, because no default document is set, just inherited from the web server.

Can you open the site in IIS and take some screenshots of authentication and exploring content etc?

An update. There seems to be an issue regarding Windows 2008 installation with IIS7. Our developers are looking in to this.

Did the new build work better for you?

For all users of Windows 2003 - the web client only supports installation on IIS 7 and later at the moment. This might change in the future.
