Unable to install 5.0.3.

It is a clean install (the previous VC version was uninstalled, and the VC folder was renamed.)

The error message is:

Error 1308. Source file not found: C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp\1\VisualCron3\Microsoft.SqlServer.Msxml6_interop.dll. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

The mentioned file is missing from the temp directory. There is another VC temp directory under the same user profile, C:\documents and settings\username\Local Settings\Temp\VisualCron3, from a previous VC install on the server. Not sure what VC version, it's not from the most version of VC that has been installed on the server, but the file properties give the file version as 6.0.0.0. Will that version of the file work with VC 5.0.3, if I move it to the temp directory that VC 5.0.3 is installing from?
