Hello everybody,

My name is Cédric and I 'm new to the forum. I've a question about 77777 error.

I transfered several tasks from the 7.1 version to the 7.5.1 on another computer.

Then I got some troubles with creditential issues with 77777 error that prevent the tasks to execute.

After some workaround, I finally got it worked by changing the execution context (foreground execution and logon/unlock using creditential) and the Run task as with creditential.

The tasks now execute.

It works exept at the end : after the task complete, I have the same 77777 error code that appears and tells me there is an error

I don't understand why because the job seems to be done.

I I create a new task, it seems to work without error.

Any idea why it doesn't work after importing?

I thought re-create everything but I have many tasks...

Thanks in advance for your answers

It sounds like you did not use a Credential before but had the VisualCron service to run as another user? Either try changing that (and use No Credential) or make sure that "Load profile" is checked on the Credetial..

Hello,

I spent a lot of time reading the forum and trying different things to solve my problem. Here is where I am now :

- I tried what you advised above but I get the same issue as other people get : the credential doesn't connect properly
- I get the exit code"-1073741502" which seems to be documented in the forum but I couldn't find the solution. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, stop and start the server, unactivate .net 4.5... nothing works
- I observed that the exact same config works on Windows 7 but not on a new Windows 8. I tried VC 7.09 and 7.6 : exactly same problem
- I just can't use VC and I'm looking for another software to do the job because it just doesn't work with a clean install of Windows 8...

If you have any idea...

Thanks

1073741502 could be that you either use an old version, or you have not logged on physically with the Credential you use on the machine. Try doing that first (maybe the profile is not created fully).

I downgraded to 7.09 because my license is valid to this version. I tried 7.6 before with trial period and I use to get the same error...

I don't understand what you mean by "not logged on physically with the Credential you use on the machine" and "maybe the profile is not created fully"

I log to my Windows 8 machine with rdp with local admin login and password. When I do the same with my Windows 7 machine, everything works and the configuration looks the same...

This is either related to the Credential (user properties), local security settings/policy, or the face that no one has logged to this server with this user. But if you use the same user as you have RDP:d on it is not that.

Try turning off UAC and reboot to see if that fixes the issue.

Your tip solved the problem.

What can I do to go further. Some programs won't work with UAC disabled...

I am not sure which security setting it affects exactly. Disabling UAC is a general approach of course.

I would try first to create a new Administrator account, a local one (not AD) to see if there is a difference there.

We did some research about exit code -1073741502 and we found 2 possible solutions:

1. Go to administrative tools->Local security policy. Set SYSTEM user with Logon as batch Job. Reboot. Try Task again.
2. Disable UAC. Reboot computer. Try Task again.

We have modified this Task for 8.1.2 so there is no need for UAC disabling. So if you encounter this again please test this beta or official when released: http://www.visualcron.co....aspx?g=posts&t=6721
