Hi VisualCron Team,

I'm currently testing VisualCron on Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard Edition.
I've an issue when I run a program through VisualCron when the credential used is with load Profile.
If the user of the credential is administrator of the server, there is no issue
If this user isn't adminsitrator, I have an error -1066598274 in the output of the task.

We currently use VisualCron 7.1.7.

Do you know how rights must be set on the server for using this without setting the user as administrator?
If you need logs/screenshot, let me know

Many thanks,
Best regards,
Sylvain

So, the error is a result of the Task not having local administrator rights:

https://community.shavlik.com/docs/DOC-23003

It is hard to say if the problem is in the user or local policy settings. I would do the following tests:

1. logon physically once with that account and try again
2. disable UAC in local security settings and reboot the computer and try again

Hi,

After testing the solution:
1. logon physically once with that account and try again
2. disable UAC in local security settings and reboot the computer and try again

I always have the same problem.
It will be interesting to avoid to set the account as local administrator.
We haven't this issue on Windows Server 2008 R2.

Thanks,
Best regards,
Sylvain

Hi Support Team,

After some tests, it seems there is a specific security settings which locks the use of load profile on Windows 2012 R2.
Could you let me know the settings needed for using it please?
We must load profile for one user.

Many thanks,

Since your version is quite old I suggest testing with the latest version first.

Hello Henrik

sorry, I forget to specify this issue is still present with 7.5.1 (version currently in use).

I think the issue comes from the security needs when we use load user profile.
Could you let me know what is the requirement please?
I've done test by adding the user in all local security and setting interactive logon do not require ctl+alt+del enable (and so disable).

Thanks,

I assume you did a reboot after the changes. We are not sure of the security settings. But we know there are no problems if you install the vanilla version of Windows 2012R2 so there is some policy applied after that by your administrators.
