Have a job that has a trigger to watch for new files as well as multiple tasks based on that trigger firing. I wanted to inactive the entire job, but even after deactivating the job, and removing the "Active" option from the trigger, I find that the job continues to run each time a new file is added to the directory. I can disable all the tasks in the job so they don't do anything, but I just don't understand why deactivating the job itself isn't enough and whythe trigger continues to fire even tough it is not "active".

Should be enough.

1. which version are you running?
2. what type of file trigger do you use (is polling checked)?
