Hi,

While I tried executing macros I am encountering below mentioned error message.

System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80080005): Retrieving the COM class factory for component with CLSID {00024500-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} failed due to the following error: 80080005 Server execution failed (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80080005 (CO_E_SERVER_EXEC_FAILURE)).

Note: - I have MS Office package in the system in which I am executing the macro, in addition macro is running successfully when I tried executing them manually.

Perhaps a different architecture of Office is installed. Try the x86 checkbox in the Task.

I can't find any sort of x86 checkbox in the VC task area.

FYI - I am using the Version 7.0.7

If you are mentioning the check box that enable the user to execute the task in 32 bit mode means, yes that is already checked.

Yes, but have you tried to uncheck it? It is related to the version of Office you have installed on the Server - I assume you have Office installed?

Yes, I have office version 2010 installed in the particular machine.

If it is 64 bit you need to uncheck that checkbox.

It is 64 bit OS, but I tried after uncheck as well, still the issue persist.

Is the macro located on a different server than the one where visualcron is installed? If so, do you have office installed on both servers?

Macro, Visual Cron & Office are located in the same localhost from which I am executing.
