Hi I am using Visual Cron 7.2 version in my Production Environment. There are more than 100 Jobs in our Prod server, each having multiple Tasks associated with it.
I would like to know if VC has got Smartphone Support and if its possible to show the Current Job status to a set of People in their Phones and to trigger a SMS/message if there is any Job failure or Long Running.

Kindly assist. Its Urgent

You can use the XendApp Task - it uses Notifications instead of SMS. But if you want to use SMS there are a lot of SMS services which just require a HTTP post (HTTP Task) to send a message.

Hi, Henrik.
Is there a Cost involved in using xendapp. We have a Licensed version of 7.2 VC. Is that enough?

Hi Henrik
Few questions:
1. Is it possible to send Notification via XENDAPp based on any Condition?
2. How many Users can receive the communication ?
3. Is there a Time Lag?
4. I saw the XendApp in 7.2 but from which version of VC is this available?

1. yes, simpliest by using Conditions in Flow tab
2. unlimited
3. depends on push system being used. Between 1-10 seconds
4. 6.1.5

Hi Henrik,
Thanks I tried the XENDAPP from my System and created Provider and Channel. I downloaded the App in my mobile and when I send a Message from System I was able to receive it in Mobile.
Now in my Server when I see the XENDAPP Task page I see a Connection Server Dropdown. What is the value I should fill in it? I was expecting only Provider and Channel.
Kindly assist

You need to go to Manage Connections and add a XendApp Connection. Then you can select it in the dropdown.
