Any additional information would be interesting. Do you get any specific errors? Remember that if you want to connect remotely you need to open port 16444 in the firewall.

How do you "know" it fails? This error in log is normal when you startup the service the first time because the service might be slower to start than VCTray. VCTray will then connect 30 seconds later. Is the log full of these connection attempts?

I am not sure I understand the problem. The VCTray only connects to the local server - not remote server.

Henrik,
Now it's clear, i think it was possible to connect tray client to a remote server.
I will open a feature request, because i can not keep a open session on the server.
Many thanks for your help.

Why would you want to connect the tray client? There is no use for connecting the tray client remotely. You can connect via the ordinary client. Perhaps you misunderstood the applications and the Manage connections window. You need to uncheck "Is local connection" to connect to a remote computer.

You can always install VisualCron on that remote server. But please add the request with the subject "Remote Foreground execution".

In order for this to work we must in some way, make an installation on the remote computer, otherwise that is not possible. So, if you want this to work right now you need to install VisualCron on that remote server. It will never be possible for one local VCTray to execute on a remote desktop. Only way is if we created a special remote execution application that is installed on remote computer or if you install the server on that remote computer.
