Hi,

In my VC installation I have a few dozen tasks that use file triggers, most of which point to DFS or Windows/SMB shares. Unfortunately I don't manage the DFS tree, and occasionally the team that does decides to update and reboot all the file servers at the same time. This causes the file triggers in VC to fail and deactivate themselves, and I have to reactivate all the file triggers.

Is there a way to prevent file triggers from deactivating if the monitored path is temporarily unavailable? Missing a run isn't a big deal, but having to manually reactivate 25+ triggers is annoying.

Sure, you have the Retry times and Retry interval on the Trigger. Just increase one or both so they are larger than downtime.
