We are using Windows Server 2012 and DFS for our file storage with multiple servers backing the share. We currently have a file-trigger watching the DFS share for new files and set to "Trigger when file has been released". As a result, we are getting multiple events firing for the same file. I've set the "Duplicate file delay" to over two seconds, but multiple events are still being raised. Polling would be an option here, but I've seen in other posts that this should only be used on Samba shares and not against a Windows share. Is this still a limitation? Knowing the above, are there other successful options that could be used?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

EDIT: Currently running version 7.1.7 on Windows 2012 DataCenter.

Please add a screenshot of the File Trigger settings. It sounds like you use "Changed" instead of "Created".

Just of curiosity, do you still get multiple triggers if you only use one file mask instead of splitting them like that?

On a normal FS, we don't get the multiple triggers for multiple file masks. When triggering from the DFS-R share, even when the mask was "*", we were still seeing multiple triggers fire for the same file.
